Improve your computer skills for increased job opportunities or for general interest. Computer courses run throughout the year and cover basic introduction to computers through to word processing, spread sheeting and internet and email courses. We are also taking expressions of interest for other courses if there is something particular you would like to cover.

Email and Internet

- 10 x 1.5hr classes (10 weeks), Friday 2.30 - 4.00 pm

• - Internet networks, 
• - World Wide Web, 
• - Emails, 
• - Using the Google search engine
• - Setting up an email account, 
• - Sending and receiving email & attachments

Computers Level 1

- 10 x 2hr classes (10 weeks), Friday 9.30 - 11.30 am

• - Introduction to the PC
• - Computer Terminology, 
• - Hardware & Software, 
• - Using a mouse, 
• - Windows
• - Introduction to Word Processing
• - Entering and editing text, 
• - Inserting graphics into documents, 
• - Formatting text 

Cost: $60

Computers Level 2

- 10 x 2hr classes (10 weeks), Friday 12.00 - 2.00 pm

• - Introduction to the PC refresher
• - File management, 
• - Finding files & folders, 
• - Building a filing system
• - Introduction to Microsoft Word
• - Formatting text & documents, 
• - Inserting graphics
• - Introduction to Excel
• - Building a basic spreadsheet

Cost: $60.00

Integrated Computers

- Computer practice sessions
Mondays 1.00 - 3.00 pm

Cost: Gold coin donation.
